Spring Beaver

This winter the Beaver and I took a looong break from each other. (Note the last post entry was mid-December) Winter in the Northwest is NO FUN for any RV owner. But now, since it's been the driest spring in history, the Beaver is not such a daunting situation. Actually, it's like I forgot all about the troubles of owning an old RV and I'm just as excited AS EVER to freshen it up.

Oh yeah and I'm not living it in anymore, whose idea was that anyways!

I did get the front brakes fixed last week before I started on the fun decorating stuff. Here is the Beaver's current airbnb profile. Below are some spring interior photos.

Wonderful Wood

The first thing I did when I got back from Asia this winter is rip out the old carpet that was in the Beaver. Honestly I liked the dark brown cozy carpet, but only I saw it as cozy and others would insist on it being crusty. So, out it went.

Surprisingly the wood underneath was in OK shape. I got some Royal Walnut stain and hand painted some fake plank lines. This is WAY better than the carpet!

How much more real can you get!
